Agrielia (wild olive tree) Organic “Green Gold”
It was Hercules who planted the first wild olive tree in Olympia. He was the inventor of sports and the Olympic Games, during which the winners were crowned with a branch of wild olive tree (agielia), which he himself had planted.
From this kind of wild olive and from 100% native trees, we produce wild olive in the mountainous area of Olympia in the "Centaur Olive Groves".
Harvesting is traditionally done by hand when the fruit is still unripe. Wild olive oil is produced on the same day by gently crushing the olives without the intervention of hot water and is full of aromas with a silky texture.
For these reasons it is rare, in small quantities, and, apart from its minimal acidity, it is also rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats. In fact, it has a higher percentage of oleuropein, which gives it antioxidant properties, oleocanthal and oleic acid with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective action.
At the same time, it has all the necessary characteristics to delight the palate and beautify the skin!
